Liam Trethowan

I am a Research Leader at Herbarium Kew - building collaborative solutions for interesting problems. My focus is simple - the ecology and geography of megadiversity and how this knowledge can boost conservation. My work often develops hierarchical joint species distribution/abundance models to understand how evolution, traits and environment shape communities. Active personal and career development of people is a big part of what I think about - making the team my priority and our work together the most rewarding part of my day-to-day.
